"Lyn began teaching my children to swim at the beginning of 2017. My son had little confidence in the water and could barely float. Within one term, he had full confidence in the water and by the end of term 2 was swimming overarm. She has transformed the way they conduct themselves in the water and her emphasis is always on safety first. I had an experience with my daughter after Lyn had been teaching her for a matter of weeks. We were visiting my brother and she jumped in the pool without warning and no one else was in the pool. It was deeper than she expected and she sank right to the bottom. Just as I was about to jump in, she came up to the surface and made her way to the edge of the pool and ‘monkeyed’ to where I was standing. She wasn’t even scared. Her confidence in the water has only continued to grow. This focus on safe conduct in the water has had amazing results! She is a gifted teacher and gives every student her full attention - they are unable to get away with a single incorrect technique. This is so even in the group classes - she appears to be everywhere at once -training arm movement and breathing and kicking with the most lovely kind manner. My children love her classes and can’t wait to get into the pool. She is a phenomenal teacher that I would recommend highly."
